We are built on over 30 years of community-based responses to HIV in Central Alberta, evolving from Central Alberta Aids Network Society into today’s Turning Point Society of Central Alberta.

A significant challenge Central Albertans face in response to HIV is accessing an infectious disease specialist, travelling to either Calgary’s Southern Alberta Clinic or Edmonton’s Northern Alberta Program.

Health Promotion facilitates the connection to care by providing referrals, transportation arrangements and resources to attend specialist appointments. Regardless of age, income, or demographic, Turning Point’s access to healthcare fund is for anyone in Central Alberta living with HIV.

We also provide a variety of workshops and community information sessions. Please contact us if you are interested arranging or attending any of our upcoming workshops by calling the office at:
