Overdose Prevention & Supports

Funded in partnership with Primary Care Alberta (formally AHS), this established program offers supports to individuals, businesses and agencies who are at risk of personal or second hand exposure to substance use harms such as opioid poisonings/overdose. This program includes a Clinical Staff and Outreach worker(s) focused on education and supports to overdose prevention, substance dependency recovery, and emergency overdose response including naloxone access and training on it's use. With Alberta still very much in the throws of an opioid crisis which claims lives daily, our staff are also well versed in supporting grief and loss and can debrief traumatic emergency responses and tragic loss.
