In February 2014, the University of Alberta School of Public Health released a Gap Analysis of Public Mental Health and Addictions Programs (GAP-MAP).
The Public Health Agency of Canada wrote a surveillance report entitled At a Glance – HIV and AIDS in Canada: Surveillance Report to December 31st, 2012. The Government of Alberta wrote STI Annual Report 2012. The Public Health Agency of Canada has released its Hepatitis C in Canada: 2005-2010 Surveillance Report available here.
In November 2012, Turning Point partnered with the Red Deer Native Friendship Society and HIV Community Link’s Shift program to present Shifting Perspectives, an interactive workshop on sex work in Alberta. In July 2012, two staff and one member of the Turning Point Board of Directors went to the International AIDS Conference. In following up to the Conference we created two resources to share with our peers.
